    Ms. Lopamudra Dasgupta was born on October 5, 1987 at Kamalpur. Her father Shri Shibendra Dasgupta retired as Manager, Tripura Gramin Bank and her mother Late Anjana Dasgupta was a successful home-maker. She completed her Higher Secondary in Science stream at Kamalpur and moved to Agartala to pursue Law at Tripura Government Law College and completed B.A (Law); LL.B (Hons.) in the year 2010 and was awarded the gold medal by Tripura University for securing First Class First position. She was, then, enrolled as an Advocate under the Bar Council of Assam, Nagaland, Meghalaya, Manipur, Tripura, Mizoram and Arunachal Pradesh. Thereafter, she obtained the degree of LL.M from Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur in the year 2013. She joined in Tripura Judicial Service as a Grade-III Officer on 02.06.2014. After induction training, she was first posted as Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.) cum J.M 2nd Class, Udaipur, Gomati District on 31.03.2015 and was conferred the power of Judicial Magistrate First Class on 01.08.2015 in the same place of posting. Thereafter, she held the post of Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.) cum J.M 1st Class, Dharmanagar, North Tripura and Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate -cum Civil Judge (Jr. Divn.), Kamalpur, Dhalai District and also, of Principal Magistrate, Juvenile Justice Boards of both North Tripura and Dhalai Districts respectively. On promotion she joined Grade – II of Tripura Judicial Service on 01.10.2019 and acted as Principal Counsellor of Family Court, Kailashahar, Unakoti and District Secretary, District Legal Services Authority, Unakoti. She took over the charge of her present post of Civil Judge (Sr. Divn.) & Asstt. Sessions Judge, Unakoti, Kailashahar on 03.01.2022 and also, holds the additional post of District Secretary, DLSA of the same District. She was posted as Principal Counsellor of Judge Family Court, West Tripura, Agartala w.e.f 28.02.2023 to 09.04.2026. Now presently posted as Principal Counsellor of Judge Family Court, North Tripura, Dharmanagr w.e.f 10.04.2026.
